THANAKORN VEGETABLE OIL PRODUCTS COMPANY LIMITED

The company was established in Phra Samut Jehdi District, Samut Phrakarn Province with an organized work plan and policy. Thanakorn was soon supported by the Board of Investment of Thailand.

The Thai government allowed soybeans to be imported freely under the WTO policies and at the same time consumers were becoming more health conscious, so Thanakorn started to introduce 100 % soybean oil under the brand “COOK” to the market. It became widely accepted by the consumers and still retains its popularity today. Thanakorn was the first vegetable oil manufacturer in Asia to use the Ice Condensing Vacuum System (ICS) in the refining process to produce excellent quality vegetable oil. Thanakorn was also the first vegetable oil manufacturer in Thailand to use Nitrogen gas instead of tertiary butyl hydroquinone or TBHQ.

Thanakorn Vegetable Oil Products Co., Ltd. is currently the second largest vegetable oil and vegetable waste extraction plant in the country. It is a producer of quality vegetable oil under the brand name “Cook”, including soybean oil, sunflower oil, and canola oil. In addition, it produces vegetable waste as raw materials for animal feed, as well as products made from soybeans, such as lecithin distillate and soybean oil acid.

“COOK YOUR HAPPINESS Cook Vegetable Oil Every Day is a Happy Day” and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company’s establishment, we have collaborated with Samut Prakan Province, the network of communities around Phra Samut Chedi, Phra Samut Chedi District, the Thai People Without Belly Network, and the Thai Health Promotion Foundation, to organize the COOK 50th ANNIVERSARY RUN, a charity walk-run activity.

OBJECTIVE
1. To be an activity, public relations, Cook, 50th anniversary of the company's establishment.
2. To encourage the general public, including employees, to exercise for health by walking-running.
3. To support and promote sports tourism in Phra Samut Chedi District, Samut Prakan Province.
4. To the proceeds from the entry fee, without deductions, and sponsors will be donated to Phra Samut Chedi Sawatyanon Hospital and Samut Prakan Hospita.

• Free parking at the parking lot of Samut Prakan Provincial Hall
• Ferry fare 6 baht per person, runners must pay by themselves First trip starts at 4:30 AM. Boats depart every 10 minutes.
The trip takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
• Free shuttle van service from Phra Samut Chedi Ferry Pier to the event venue. Return trip starts at 7:30 AM. Vehicles depart from the event venue.

PARKING LOT FOR RUNNERS
Free parking at the event venue for 500 cars and 400 motorcycles.
- Open to enter the parking lot from 3:00 AM to 5:40 AM.
- Open to leave the parking lot at 7:30 AM.
Parking lot at Pomnakrachasawatanon School for 200 cars
We recommend parking at this parking lot, which is 1.2 Km. away from the event venue.
